Sally graduated from the University of Cape Town (South Africa) in 2006 and has worked in South Africa and England before moving to Melbourne in 2018.
She completed a Certificate in Pain Management in 2015 and is passionate about the role that education and rehabilitation play in painful and other chronic health conditions.
Sally initially worked in many diverse environments, including rural clinics, urban hospitals, home based therapy and community centres. Since 2012, she has been based predominantly in private practices, treating sports injuries, spinal and arthritic conditions as well as teaching Pilates and other rehabilitation classes. She takes great joy in helping people from all walks of life to stay active and able to participate in the activities that give their life meaning.
More recently, Sally discovered the field of aquatic physiotherapy (or hydrotherapy) and has really enjoyed pool-based rehabilitation, completing various aquatic physiotherapy courses along the way. She looks forward to continuing this side of her work and is available to see clients for aquatic physiotherapy sessions at the Harold Holt Hydrotherapy pool.
Sally and her husband became parents during the 2020 Lockdown and have been kept on their toes by their energetic little man ever since.
